Energy dispersion of the Ag(111) surface-state band near normal emission
The spectra of Ag(111) were acquired at T =3D 40 K using the EA 125 HR analyser with the standard EAC 2000 control unit, and the HIS 13 High Intensity VUV source in HeI mode (21.2 eV). A spectrum of a Ta foil was measured in order to verify the energy resolution which was set to about 20 meV.

  • entrance slit: 2 mm
  • exit slit: 1 mm.
